Epic Events gets its name from a random conversation between co-owners Arora Zanzibar and VincentVile DeSantis during which they jokingly said an event should be catered to them and be everything they wanted and it should be an Epic Event!
Arora has been involved in events since 2009 when she first started working behind the scenes with Relay for Life – Fantasy Faire. Then in 2010 she went on to work with Operation Squeegee (and Fantasy Faire for a second time) and Wear Gray for a Day for 3 years. As well as working with other organisers in various events Arora has also organised other events such as Trick or Treat, Leaf on the Wind and now the first annual Multicultural Menu.
Vincent is no event noob either. He has pariticipated in, and been a sponsor of, many events such as Fantasy Fair, World Goth Fair, Leaf on the Wind and Wear Gray for a Day. Vincent also lends his talents in graphic design with logos, banners and advertising material.
For convenience, Epic Events was started so all future events can be located in one easy to find spot and as group spaces are limited within SL it’s now easier with the ability to add all participants to one event management group.
